San Francisco

Patrick Bell is the owner of Patrick C. Bell and Company, a San Francisco based business consulting firm.  As the Bay Area’s most successful small-firm advisor, he has worked with more than 125 design, engineering, and construction firms and held more than 10,000 business management meetings.  Patrick’s clients have included Gordon Chong & Partners,  Michael Willis Architects, Dealey, Renton & Associates, Brayton & Hughes, and Leddy, Mattum & Stacy.

Patrick’s experience as a self-employed businessman began, when at the age of 20, he opened a political polling company in the Bay Area.   At 23 he opened a chain of record stores – Banana Records, which ultimately numbered 10 stores.

Soon associates were asking for advice in managing and growing their businesses.  Thirty-four years later, they still are.

Patrick’s long experience working both as a business owner, and with them has given him a unique understanding of the needs of small firms and their principals.

Patrick’s approach is as responsive and intuitive as he is.  He does not analyze his clients based on the latest formula. What he does do is listen and advise based on his vast experience.
